Where Are They Now? - Cast From 1980's TV Series "Things Fall Apart"

The 1987 TV series, is a dramatization of the epic contribution of Professor Chinua Achebe's book, "Things Fall Apart". 
No Movie in the history of African writing has portrayed a people's History, culture, religion, tradition and values better than Chinua Achebe's "things fall apart". 
Below are some of the actors that will remain the greatest & most cherished for their roles in the TV series. 

Pete Edochie (Okonkwo aka Ebubedike):

Pete Edochie came into prominence in the 1980's when he played the lead role of Okonkwo in an NTA adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s all time best selling novel, Things Fall Apart. 

He won an International Award & the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) flew to Nigeria to interview him for his role in the series "Things Fall Apart".  

The Nollywood veteran actor has since featured in  blockbuster movies like; Rituals (1997), Igodo (1999), Oduduwa (2000), Billionaires Club (2003), Heavy Battle (2008) and more.... 

Pete who became the most recognisable face in the television epic moved into the movie industry and has featured in over 200 movies. His accomplishments have attracted numerous awards, national honours and Hall of Fame adoptions ever since.

He is married with children among who are Yul and Linc Edochie (Nollywood actors).

Justus Esiri (Obierika):

Declared as one of the strong men of the African film industry, Justus Esiri worked for voice of Nigeria VON, German Service as a translator. During one of his performance, a delegation from Nigeria (his homeland) invited him to perform in a Government sponsored program.  When he went to Nigeria, he never went back to Europe.

He became famous for his role in the ever popular African TV series, "Things fall apart & "the village headmaster". 

Justice Esiri is happily married with six children, one of which is the popular Nigerian hip hop music Artist, Dr SID, who graduated as a dental surgeon but now a member of one of Nigeria's biggest record label (Mavin Records). 

Fabian Adibe (Uzorwulu):

Ever since he featured in popular African TV series "Things fall apart", Fabian Adibe has continued to act with roles in Evil Desire, Billionaires Club, Fire On The Mountain..... 

The Veteran actor is very popular in English related movies. His character in movies usually have strong humane dimensions to them & his presence in a movie brings a degree of credibility and a sense of expectance.
